Irnham is a charming little village nestling in a hollow amid the gently rolling hills of South Lincolnshire.
In about 1330, Irnham’s Lord of the manor, Sir Geoffrey Luttrell commissioned an illuminated book of Psalms to be made. This book has become known as the Luttrell Psalter. The illustrations of everyday life in mediaeval village which occur within the pages are thought to be of Irnham itself.
